My mom, Gloria, received outstanding care at Avantara Norton. When she first arrived, she was still recovering and needed a lot of assistance, but the staff, especially Jane, her CNA, treated her with such care and patience. Jane knew exactly what mom needed, like her two cups of coffee in the morning, and was always there to help. As Gloria became more coherent, Jane helped her regain independence by showing me how to assist with her transfers safely. I could see her strength and stability improve every day. The therapy team was exceptional—they worked with her three times a day, and by the end of her stay, her strength was better than before she went to the hospital.
The dietary team was also fantastic, accommodating her preferences and making sure she had meals she enjoyed, which helped her gain back weight she’d lost. Jamie at the front desk always greeted us with a smile and kept things running smoothly, while Shelby, the social worker, made the transition easy and took care of every detail. Even the maintenance team, like the rest of the staff, was kind and helpful, making our stay feel comfortable.
Seeing my mom smile again, engage in activities, and look forward to each day was a huge relief. I’m so thankful to the team at Avantara Norton for their compassion, dedication, and genuine care.
